Commissions

cooking date – ink and watercolor on paper

I was recently commissioned to paint this small picture a friend who had been browsing through some of my older work. Love quick ink lines, watercolor and light subject matter. I did a lot of work like this during my time living in France, so this took me back. Cheers Maya!

Ben Ashton-Bell

Fellow Melbourne artist Ben Ashton-Bell has just updated his blog/website. Lots of interesting projects all executed in his unique and recognizable style. The above being one of my favorites, an awesome illustration for UK clothing label Drop Dead. You can get a better look at it here.

long time coming

I recently signed off on the proof for my next limited edition print. Once again master printer Brian Gilkes at Pharos Editions will be producing a limited run of high quality prints that will be available in my store real soon. Here’s a (very) small look at part of the work.

Meetings

This is a photo of myself and Jake Rolfe discussing plans for our upcoming two man show, in his studio Melbourne CBD. The photo was taken by photographer/designer and studio-mate Michael Thomas.

The as yet untitled show will be held at Rancho Notorious Gallery in Melbourne and open on the 16th of August. Stay tuned for more details!
